Quite good considering how interesting this character isn’t. Really simplistic film. Needed script doctor for weak third act, but hangs on.

What a brilliant read. Saw Quest talking to John Oliver on the Daily Show about the book and was spellbound, as was Oliver. He is such an amazing presence; a walking dictionary of music who is inspired by the sounds and can’t wait to discuss it with you. The book engages, takes to you Quest’s visual & vivid recollections of his moments frozen in time and inextricably linked to a particular song. Makes you think about the songs that define your timeline and life.

Disney gets spoofed by Disney in modern fairy tale that still plays. Adams comes alive in role made for her, but every member of cast solid.

Pure trifle: uninspired dollop of something slightly enjoyable & immediately forgotten. Allen running in place. This is not award material.

Kind of all over the place. Great pieces, but WAY too long. Improves hugely if split up over 2 nights. Nolan’s twists finally feel gimmicky.
