Really makes you appreciate Love Actually; you can see how wrong you can go with these ensemble romcoms. Surprisingly not *the* worst ever.

#140RVW: Robot & Frank (2012)
Unique, unexpected & well-made film. One of the few cases when I wished for a longer run-time. If not Langella’s best role, right up there.

#140RVW: Doctor Who: The Snowmen (2012)
Maybe the weakest of the Matt Smith specials, simply because it is the least able to stand on its own. In every other way, it is wonderful…

#140RVW: Doctor Who: The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe (2011)
Charming, exciting, funny, immensely quotable; everything a Doctor Who Christmas Special should be. Bit confusing for newbies, but worth it.

#140RVW: Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol (2010)
Maybe the most creative retelling of Christmas Carol. Even better than usual writing by Moffat. Smith at his best to Gambon’s “Scrooge”…
